Besides drinking lots of water, getting enough sleep and never forgetting to eat my veggies there are a few products and simple tricks I use to keep my skin healthy, clean and glowing. So let’s talk skin care!

Wash: I remove dirt and make up from my face with Bioderma Créaline H2O every morning and evening. Just trust me, it works like magic, which is why all make up artists use it.

Scrub: Twice a week I exfoliate my skin with a facial scrub. Right now it’s the Nuxe Bio Beauté Gentle Comfort Exfoliant with red berries. I like it a lot because it doesn’t dry out my skin at all but still makes it super smooth.

Mask: After using a scrub I always try to find the time to apply a face mask. At the moment I’m loving the Clarins HydraQuensch Cream-Mask.

Moisturize: I usually moisturize with the Rich Hydrating Cream by Avène. If my skin is really dry I go for the Iris Hydrating Day Cream by Weleda or I splurge on the 8 Hour Cream by Elisabeth Arden. On the lips I like to use Carmex or simply Vaseline. I also apply Vaseline on my eyebrows and eyelashes a few times a week before going to bed, to keep them thick and healthy.

As a model you pick up tricks about skin care everywhere. Over the years I’ve discovered that when it comes to myself, less is definetely more. Putting too many products on my face just irritates my skin. I like to keep it simple and I stick to my routine very strictly, but if there are any products that you swear by, please leave a comment! Kisses!

Christoph Schaller shot these photos of me in a small Turkish supermarket in Munich. I’m wearing pieces from the A Kind Of Guise Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. It’s all about warms knits, cute dresses, simple shirts and cool jackets in all kind of styles - from bomber to biker and boyfriend. It was fun, and a bit unusual to pose in front of huge piles of lettuce and pineapples, or next to Turkish Delight and Baklava.

BROTHER AND SISTER

Here’s a little polaroid diary from the amazing 3 weeks I spent in North America! I visited my brother in Toronto, from where we did a road trip to New York City and Montréal. It was so much fun discovering cool, new places, browsing through vintage stores, almost dying at my brother’s crazy weight lifting classes, watching Midsomer Murders, eating the most delicious green bean coconut gelato, buying way too many shoes, walking countless hours every day, playing board games and working on my freckles in the perfect summer weather. I’ll be back as soon as possible, Leo!
